Daily Journal Corporation has acquired Revir Technologies, Inc., an Austin-based company that develops software for law enforcement and justice agencies. The deal brings Revir's Scout platform into Daily Journal's growing Courts, Justice and Government Technology division.
Scout is designed to help agencies manage and analyze digital evidence. The system uses artificial intelligence to process large volumes of data, offering advanced search functions and tools that let investigators sort through case material more efficiently. Digital evidence in modern cases often includes video, audio, messages, and location data, and the platform aims to make that material easier to review and organize.
Revir's technology fits into a broader push by public safety agencies to adopt software that can cut down manual review time. Daily Journal Corporation has been building its presence in the government technology sector, and the addition of Revir adds a specialized tool for evidence management to its portfolio.
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. The company said the Scout platform will continue to serve existing clients while being integrated into its wider offerings for courts and justice agencies. The move signals continued consolidation in the legal and public safety software market, where agencies increasingly look for unified systems that handle case data from start to finish.
