Initta Technology Showcases Edge AI Hardware at NRF APAC 2026 in Singapore

SINGAPORE -- From June 2 to 4, Chinese smart retail firm Initta Technology made its presence felt at NRF APAC 2026, the annual premier gathering for the Asia-Pacific retail industry. Held at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore, the event drew a wide range of global retailers and technology providers. Initta used the opportunity to showcase its full-stack intelligent retail solutions, with a strong emphasis on edge AI hardware.

The company highlighted its self-developed point-of-sale terminals and AI-driven applications, built on integrated capabilities in artificial intelligence, hardware design, and scenario-based deployment. These systems are designed to process data locally on the device, reducing reliance on cloud connectivity and improving response times for in-store operations. The approach aims to help retailers streamline checkout, manage inventory, and analyze customer behavior in real time.

Initta's booth attracted steady attention from attendees interested in practical AI deployment at the store level. The company's focus on edge computing reflects a broader industry shift toward faster, more reliable in-store technology that can operate even in bandwidth-limited environments. With retail margins under pressure across the region, solutions that offer both efficiency gains and lower infrastructure costs are gaining traction.

The event marked another step in Initta's expansion beyond China, as the company looks to build partnerships with retailers and distributors across Southeast Asia and the broader Asia-Pacific market.
