The new CT scanner features advanced low-dose imaging, which cuts radiation exposure while producing higher-resolution images. That means doctors can detect smaller abnormalities earlier, especially in lung and cardiac screenings. The system also includes a wider bore, making it easier for larger patients or those with mobility issues to get scanned without feeling cramped.

On the MRI side, the facility has upgraded its software and hardware to shorten exam times by up to 30 percent.
