Nordson Corporation reported that its Advanced Technology Solutions segment became the company's main growth engine during the fiscal third quarter of 2026. Organic sales in that division jumped 31 percent compared to the same period last year, while segment EBITDA rose 58 percent, according to the company's latest earnings release.
The strong performance was driven by sustained demand in semiconductor and electronics manufacturing, where Nordson supplies precision dispensing and coating equipment. The company said its customers are investing heavily in advanced packaging and miniaturization technologies, which require more precise fluid application and higher throughput.
Overall company revenue also benefited from the segment's momentum, though Nordson did not provide a full breakdown of total sales in the initial summary. The EBITDA margin in the Advanced Technology Solutions unit expanded significantly, reflecting both higher volume and improved operational efficiency.
Management credited the results to earlier investments in product development and a focused push into high-growth applications like electric vehicle power modules and advanced display production. The company also noted that order rates remained healthy entering the fourth quarter, though it cautioned that some customers are still managing inventory levels carefully.
Nordson's other segments, including Industrial Precision Solutions and Medical and Fluid Solutions, posted more modest growth. The company said it expects the Advanced Technology division to remain the primary contributor to overall growth for the rest of the fiscal year.
